You only need an account to publish profiles, leave comments, or say whether a profile worked. Browsing and search are open to everyone.

I already have one

Email addresses are not verified yet — the site has no outbound mail configured, so a confirmation step would lock every new account out. Until that changes, an address here proves nothing and cannot be used to recover a password.
